The Bali House Begins: A New Custom Home Build by Talica Design | Build

There’s something special about early mornings on a construction site, especially when a new custom home officially begins taking shape.

This week, the team at Talica Design | Build kicked off the foundation for a brand-new custom home project we’re calling The Bali House. As the sun rose over St. Petersburg, Florida, our crew was already hard at work preparing for one of the most exciting milestones in any build: the concrete slab pour.

From above, the view was incredible.

Drone footage captured the entire operation just as the sun started climbing into the sky. The golden morning light stretched across the job site while crews coordinated the pour with precision. A concrete pump truck stood ready as workers guided the flow, smoothing and leveling the foundation that will soon support this beautiful new home.

Down the street, concrete trucks lined up one after another, ready to deliver load after load to keep the operation moving smoothly. It’s a coordinated effort that requires timing, teamwork, and experience, something the Talica team brings to every project.

Moments like this are a reminder of how every custom home starts: with a solid foundation and a dedicated crew committed to quality craftsmanship.

The Bali House is just getting started, and we’re excited to document every stage of the process, from foundation to framing, all the way to the finished home.
