With a lifetime spent in the construction industry, Sam Emert brings decades of hands-on experience, leadership, and industry knowledge to Talica Design | Build.
As President of the company, Sam oversees projects with a strong focus on quality craftsmanship, efficiency, and building lasting relationships with clients and partners alike. His passion for construction and commitment to doing things the right way have helped shape Talica into a trusted name in custom builds and new construction throughout the Tampa Bay area.

Vice President
Phil Emert
With a lifelong background in construction and years of hands-on industry experience, Phil Emert serves as Vice President of Talica Design | Build
, helping oversee operations, project coordination, and the day-to-day execution that keeps projects moving forward. Known for his strong work ethic, leadership, and practical knowledge of the building process,
Phil plays a key role in ensuring Talica projects are completed with quality, efficiency, and attention to detail.
Working alongside his son Sam and the Talica team, Phil brings experience, guidance, and a steady presence to every project. His dedication to craftsmanship and commitment to client satisfaction continue to help shape the foundation of Talica Design | Build’s reputation throughout the Tampa Bay area.

Office Administrator
Donna Woods
A proud Dunedin native, Donna attended Dunedin Elementary, Middle, and High School, where she also played the bagpipes. She graduated from St. Petersburg College with High Honors and began her career in accounting, building a strong foundation in organization and financial management.
In 2015, Donna expanded into the construction industry, gaining hands-on experience in the trades while working with an A/C contractor. Her unique combination of accounting expertise and field knowledge brings valuable insight to the Talica team.
Donna is deeply committed to giving back to her community. She spent 22 years supporting families through her work and volunteer efforts with the Ronald McDonald House and served 8 years as Assistant County Coordinator for the USMC Toys for Tots program.
Outside of work, Donna enjoys the beach, music, and spending time with animals. A true free spirit at heart, she brings positivity and compassion to everything she does. ✌️

Project Manager
Matt Bader
Matt Bader serves as Project Manager at Talica Design | Build, where he plays a key role in overseeing projects from planning through completion. With a strong focus on communication, coordination, and quality control, Matt works closely with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to help keep every phase of construction running efficiently and on schedule.
Known for his hands-on approach and attention to detail, Matt helps ensure Talica’s projects are executed with professionalism, precision, and a commitment to craftsmanship. His ability to problem-solve in fast-paced environments and keep projects moving forward makes him an important part of the Talica team and the company’s continued growth.

Design Manager
Jenna Freeman
Born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, Jenna brings a natural eye for design and a deep passion for construction to the Talica team. She earned her degree in Interior Design from Appalachian State University, setting the foundation for a career built around creativity, functionality, and bringing ideas to life.
As Talica’s Design Manager, Jenna plays a key role from concept to completion. She works closely with clients to guide selections, coordinate purchases, and manage vendors and subcontractors throughout the construction process, ensuring every detail aligns with the client’s vision and is executed with precision.
What Jenna enjoys most is sourcing unique selections and watching a project evolve from an idea into a finished space. For her, there’s nothing better than seeing a vision come to life right in front of her.
Outside of work, you’ll likely find Jenna at the beach, tackling home improvement and DIY projects, or spending time with her husband and their pups. She also enjoys golfing, or at least looking the part while doing it. Fun fact: Jenna lived in Okinawa, Japan for four years while her husband was stationed there in the Air Force. She’s also a licensed Realtor and has a unique tradition of collecting tattoos from every country or state she travels to as a way of capturing memories.
Jenna takes pride in the work she does every day and the role she plays in helping clients turn their dream spaces into reality.

Senior Project Manager
Joe Yatsko
With years of hands-on experience in the construction industry, Joe Yatsko serves as Senior Project Manager at Talica Design | Build, overseeing projects from pre-construction planning to final completion. Known for his strong leadership, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset, Joe plays a key role in keeping projects organized, on schedule, and running smoothly in the field.
Joe works closely with clients, subcontractors, and the Talica team to ensure every build meets the company’s high standards for quality and craftsmanship. His extensive knowledge of construction operations, coordination, and project execution helps bring complex projects together with efficiency and precision.
Passionate about building and committed to delivering exceptional results, Joe takes pride in creating a seamless experience for clients while helping turn visions into reality.

Apprentice Project Manager
Jack Johnson
Born and raised in Florida, Jack found his way into construction while searching for a part-time job, but what started as a simple opportunity quickly turned into a true passion. Today, he serves as an Apprentice Project Manager at Talica Design | Build, playing a key role in keeping projects running smoothly from the ground up.
Jack is constantly on the move, coordinating subcontractors, visiting job sites, and making sure every phase of construction stays on track. He thrives in the fast-paced environment, where no two days are the same and there’s always something new to learn. That drive to grow and improve is what fuels his success and makes him a valuable part of the team.
Outside of work, Jack stays just as active, whether he’s skating, hitting the gym, or staying busy with his latest hobby. He’s also passionate about collecting and regularly vends at card shows, combining his entrepreneurial spirit with something he genuinely enjoys.
Proud of how far he’s come at a young age, Jack continues to push himself every day, building not just projects, but a strong future in the construction industry.

Marketing Director
Chris Hollywood
Chris is a creative media professional with a strong background in video production, marketing, and digital content strategy. In 2015, he founded Aeronautical Productions, a media and marketing company specializing in video production, photography, drone services, social media management, and digital advertising.
With years of hands-on experience, Chris is a professional video editor, videographer, producer, photographer, and licensed FAA Part 107 drone pilot. He also has extensive knowledge in website design, SEO, social media advertising, AI tools, and digital marketing strategy, helping businesses strengthen their brand presence and online reach.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, boating, camping, and traveling. He’s also a longtime Philadelphia Eagles fan and the owner of a hot sauce company, combining his entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for creativity and flavor.
